This Privacy Policy describes how SIM HOUSE ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website https://simhouse.connectme2.io/, make a reservation, visit our facility, or receive communications from us. 1. Information We Collect
- Account & booking information: name, email, phone number, billing address, payment details processed by our payment provider, reservation history.
- Communications: messages, SMS opt-in/out preferences, support correspondence.
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring URLs, collected automatically.
- Location data: the address of the facility you are booking and, where you choose to enable it, approximate device location to help you find a nearby location.
2. Telemetry and Video Data (Unmanned Facilities)
At our unmanned, self-service locations we collect: video from surveillance cameras in public and bay areas; access events from keycards, PINs, and door sensors; simulator telemetry (shot data, session metrics, fault codes); and environmental telemetry (temperature, power state). We use this data to: verify authorized access, investigate incidents or damage, improve the service, respond to emergencies, and comply with legal obligations. Video is typically retained for 30-90 days unless needed for an investigation or legal hold. Simulator telemetry is associated with your booking and retained consistent with our general retention schedule.
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure usage, and secure the Service. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect functionality.
4. How We Use Information
We use your information to: (a) provide and operate the Service; (b) process bookings and payments; (c) send booking confirmations, reminders, and transactional SMS/email; (d) respond to support requests; (e) prevent fraud and protect the facility; (f) comply with legal obligations; and (g) with your consent, send marketing communications you can opt out of at any time.
5. How We Share Information
We share information with: service providers (payment processors, SMS/email vendors, hosting and analytics providers) who act on our behalf under contract; business partners where necessary to fulfill your booking; law enforcement or regulators when legally required or to protect rights, property, or safety; and in connection with a business transaction (merger, acquisition, or sale of assets). We do not sell personal information for money.
6. SMS / Text Message Data
If you opt in to receive SMS messages from us, we collect your phone number, opt-in timestamp and source, message history, and opt-out signals (e.g., "STOP" replies). Phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Platform SMS Processing
When you opt in to receive SMS from SIM HOUSE, the following information is processed by Konnect Me 2 Inc. (operator of the ConnectMe2 platform messaging service) on our behalf as a subprocessor: your mobile number, opt-in timestamp and source (e.g., booking checkout, account profile, START reply), opt-out signals (STOP / UNSUBSCRIBE / CANCEL / END / QUIT keywords), inbound and outbound message content and delivery receipts, and the IP address of the device used to opt in (when collected on the web). This data is used to deliver messages, prove consent for compliance audits (TCR / 10DLC / TCPA / CTIA), and respond to opt-out and HELP requests. Phone numbers, SMS consent, and message history are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and are not sold. Opt-out is honored platform-wide across every Sim House sender; reply STOP to any message at any time.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you may request disclosure of categories of personal information we collect and opt out of "sharing" as defined by California law. EU/UK residents (GDPR/UK-GDPR): you may exercise rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. To exercise these rights, contact matkins@teevisionav.com. 9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact matkins@teevisionav.com and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted at https://simhouse.connectme2.io/privacy with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
